Celeb Twitter Round-Up: Brenda Mtambo Shows Love to Her Loyal Fans

Brenda Mtambo is not only a powerhouse songstress, but she’s a humble and grateful one, too!

Last Saturday, 2 September, the Afro-soul songstress presented “Brenda Mtambo Live – A Decade Experience” at the Lyric Theatre in Johannesburg. Suffice to say, she brought the house down with her performance, the production value, EVERYTHING.

Then again, we don’t expect anything less from the 40-year-old, who has been going strong as an independent singer for the last decade or so!

On Twitter/X, she briefly expressed her love and gratefulness to the fans who attended the show before heading to Instagram on Monday, 4 September, to express her feelings in full:

“I have been so emotional thinking how we pulled this off,” she wrote in the caption. “I don’t have much, honestly, just the love for music and the people I do it for. I always wanna give my 100%, and I do my best to bring shows that represent my heart and respect for my audience and the gift.

“This show had many challenges as you’ll imagine with no sponsors and having to rely on just dreaming and believing,” Mtambo continued. “I relied on you guys to come and you did, we are doing it again and again and again because you guys are here with me all the way and I am so grateful.”

Back on Twitter/X, tweeps gave the “Santiago” singer all their flowers, and she received them all with virtual bows:
